LATIN AMERICAN CONGRESSES
In collaboration with other IFAC Member Associations in Latin America, AADECA participates in the organization of Latin American symposia which have its headquarters in each of these countries on a rotating way.
At these meetings, held every two years, papers are submitted that show the academic and industrial level of development in various Latin American countries, allowing dialogue among professionals with similar socio-economic realities.
AADECA has also participated and organized international symposia such as the “International Low Cost Automation” and the “Symposium on Intelligent Components and Instruments for Control Applications”, both with support of IFAC.
- • 6th MMM ’89: Organized by AADECA from September 3 until September 8, 1989, with the sponsoring of IFAC Applications Committee, the Sixth International Symposium on Automation in Mining and Processing of Minerals and Metals.
- • 4th LCA ’95: The International Symposium on Low Cost Automation, which has the support of IFAC, was organized by AADECA from September 13 until September 15, 1995, at the School of
Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires.
- • SICICA 2000: 4th International IFAC - Symposium on Intelligent Components and Instruments for Control Applications. It took place in Buenos Aires from 13 to 15 September 2000.
